Very hard to understand. Class is quite boring, which will result in you not wanting to go to the class. Test are pretty hard. Only 2 test total up your final grade. Other than that, he has a pretty good personality.

Bacot is okay. He shows may more slides than other teachers in the same section. Prepared to do tons of memorization but the class is really interesting.

Bacot is a nut. Very intelligent, but a confusing teacher. Tests are random. Pay attention to weird facts in class. He might give you extra credit if you talk to him.

Not only is he boring, but he doesn't enunciate, refuses to answer questions, questions your intelligence when you don't know how to spell what he pronounces "horstrum" but is actually "course string", and he lied about the final being cumulative.

Prof. Bacot was funny, and it was very refreshing to have a teacher so excited about the material he was teaching. I wouldn't recommend this class to everyone because it requires a love of art and tons of studying.

The class was interesting but Bacot is a floozy. He calls everything tootsies and digits and reeks of homosexuality. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but he isn't concentrated on students and enjoys more the sound of his own voice.

the only highlight of this class was the bowties. the course is nothing but straight memorization of a lot of dates, places, people, events, art mediums, techniques, etc.-for Christ's sake, its an entry level course! the book did not help either.

Had a 4.0 until I took this class, missed an "A" by one question and he didn't care. Plus...he can't grade scantrons so there are always errors which he seems annoyed to look over. I probably made an "A' but he wouldn't let me see my old test.

Bacot was probably the worst teacher I've had at LSU. You can't understand half of the things he says in his lecture other than him saying everything is "delicious"...also, he won't tell you what's on the tests--which are really hard.

He doesn't speak loud enough, and on the test he would ask questions about stuff not on the outline, not discussed in class, and stuff about LSU campus and LA Plantations... things you would only know if you've ever been there.
