Great teacher. Go to class for bonus opportunies. Lot of writing papers but learned so much and bonus made up for any screw ups

I am in no way a D student. im a comd major and this was a BS class. no matter how hard i studied i failed the test. my advice: dont take stickle!

LOL! Stickle stickle stickle. He's a nice guy, but it kindof sucked that he kept giving us take home tests. Even the final was take-home, and like, that's fine, but an A in that class just isn't as fulfilling. The material's totally garbage tho.

He is extremely boring, and goes off on tangents..the syllabus makes the class seem hard. All test except for the 1st one are take home, case studies take a lot of work but grades them easier after the 1st one..lots of bonus. went from d to high b

This calss completely sucks. Do not take it if you can help it!!! Stickle is so boring, the material is boring, and it requires tons of outside time. I would say nothing I learned in this class would ever help me in the future.

This is a very knowledgeable professor but he can be kind of dry. He is a very nice person and interested in seeing you do well. People that like to read should take this class.

Painfully boring, and the tests were rediculous. You won't learn any more than in 1202, but you'll hurt your GPA.

I normally make A's but i made a b in this class even though i studied hard. Also, if you're easily embarrassed by talk about sex don't take stickle because he brings up contraception methods, stds, etc. a lot.

Exam questions were relevant to the material taught in class but there are about 300 bits of information for each test and if you don't know the 50 bits he asked, you get 2 pts off each ques. if miss 6 get B, impossible to memorize all that

Stickle's class was practically impossible...exams covered 4 or 5 chapters and were only worth 50 points, and 3/4 of the class scored below a C on almost every exam

Dr. Stickle is an extremely nice person, but he had a tendency to ramble and I'm not sure of the purpose of the entire semester.

You learn a lot, because in order to do good you have to know every bit of information (and there is tons).

Stickle is interesting and helpful, but coursework covers uninteresting material unless you enjoy marine biology. Lab is incorporated into grade, and the labs are downright absurd.

Didn't focus on the main ideas but little bit of information that the rest of the world would see as unimportant. His lectures and presentations were word for word from the book, but not his test.
