McMahon is a great teacher who knows everything, literally. It is amazing to listen to his lectures but be prepared to work and read alot.

This class was awesome! There is a lot of work, but I know that I would have not read Paradise Lost if it weren't for the assignments. Since you have to do so much, you actually learn a lot in this class.

He can be a pretentiuos asshole quite frequently. If he likes you, you get an A, if not, too bad. Tons of work which are you not rewarded for. Terrible critiques of papers, it is like he wants you to fail.
