I can say this is easily one of the most difficult, if not THE most difficult course I've taken at lsu, and I took this class as an elective! The material itself is actually pretty interesting and shouldn't be very hard, but May is a horrible teacher. Her class consisted of clicking through a long powerpoint that wasn't even helpful because it left out tons of stuff she put on her tests. The only way to get a decent grade was to read through and outline the chapters on the test, which were usually around 30-40 pages long. With four chapters on every test it took FOREVER. I got an A in this class, but barely, and I have never had to study so much for one class. May is young and arrogant and inexperienced and it really shows in her class. DO NOT TAKE HER.

Worst teacher I have ever had. She does absolutely no teaching, other than reading off of preschool designed powerpoint slides. She gets to an important topic and always says, "We'll talk about this later." and... we never get to it, and of course its on the exam. Its sad because the content is interesting enough. Cool course, avoid May. Awful.

This teacher is a joke. I would not recommend taking her ever. All she does is read from the book. Literally. She doesn't ever teach the material; she is a grad student who knows just as much about the material as we do. If all I have to do is read the book then whats the point of going to class? All the test questions come from the book and when each chapter is 30 pages long it makes it really hard to study what will be on the test. She sucked
