Professor Hyde is very personable and nice. She is also very informed of the material. The grading is sketchy though, because she doesn't do them, the TAs do. One of the TAs was a pregnant witch who scrutinizes over every word you write down, whereas the other TA was pretty fair. I'd suggest taking the class with Hyde.

Dr. Allen is the coolest professor ever! Biggest tips for his class: 1.) Don't be late! 2.) Make good study buddies! 3.) Read the books as soon as possible because the due dates will pop up out of nowhere. His essay questions were a little ridiculous, and he gave us all a pop quiz when a lot of people came to class late, but overall, I loved this class! Please take him!

Dotson is really cool. If you have to take this class, take him. Most of his notes are already on noteswap. Tests are all essay, and there are 3 books to read. But overall this class wasn't too bad. Definitely take Dotson though.

TAKE CAROLYN DAY!!!!! She'll make you actually want to survive history. If she's not teaching it wait another semester. young, hip, talks loud, interesting, fun, and easy!!!!!

The class is wicked easy. The only thing is that you must study the material, and by that I mean read the chapter. People say the test are hard, but they aren't the test re essay so remember what you read.
