Finance 3717 is not a fun class but Crary is awesome. You are never in class the full time and he cancels a lot of classes. The first test is very hard but he changes the weighting so that you can choose which of the two tests you want to be worth more. The second test is easy and so is the final. Crary is very helpful and wants you to succeed. Take him if you can!

David Crary is not a bad teacher, or should I say class manager. He doesn't really teach anything. He comes to class everyday with a bunch of papers and the class works on the problems. Its learning by doing; Crary just manages.

no email or online contacts with class! grading is bad, u will never know wat grade u have in class! exams are very hard! but he is a very nice and caring person

no way to tell what your grade is until the end, tests are HARD, nothing like what's given in class, lots of projects that are all group-nat garunteed A or B like some people may say...

Crary is great! He is a little old fashioned (doesn't use BlackBoard gives hard copy handouts of EVERYTHING) you never know what your grade is but everyone ends up doing ok.

Its a good class and a really good teacher. Lots of group work, but towards the end its more individual so you better learn it
