Wilde is a great teacher. Problem is tests are departmental now and if you do not have D.Young you are going to have a tough time on the tests. Would recommend Wilde if tests are not departmental but if they are then definitely try and get D.Young.

She wasn't a very good teacher. Exams questions were very hard and she never curve the tests no matter how low the averages were. One top of that, she doesn't really help you whenever you ask her a question.

Wilde is literally the worst teacher I've ever taken in my life. I didn't learn a single thing from her class. She is very rude toward her students and her tests is completely different from the notes.

This woman is a sad excuse for a teacher. She can't control her class and she couldn't decide whether to give points to a particular question on the tests. What a pathetic teadher.

She is the easiest teacher for this and 2001. If you can take her. She's really nice and kinda quirky, but you'll love her for her notes, easy webassigns, and formula sheets. Her tests are short and pretty easy, but take time to study for the final.

Wilde is one of the best teachers at LSU! She is really concerned for the students and really wants to help. You have printed lecture notes, lots of examples and pretty straight forward tests. If you have to take physics, take it with Wilde!

The only downside to PHYS 2001 is that the tests have only 15 questions so you must get all of the questions right if you want a good A. Wilde is the best Physics teacher.

easy to follow, but, Computer Tests were way hard-10 ques, 100pts. HW almost daily & easy to forget when its due. Failed 1st 3 exams and had to drop after midterm. would've had D in class while a's & b's in other classes- isnt that sad? DO NOT TAKE

She cannot teach. Her exams were completely irrevelant. She has computer tests that are only 10 questions, so they're 10 points a piece. We had NEVER leaned most of the stuff on those tests.

Wilde presented the information clearly but then she gave COMPUTER TESTS which suck badly. Do all your homeworks if you decide to take her(webassign) they will help in the long run. Her tests are sometimes impossible

Wilde does not teach the material well, and her exams have only 10 questions with a 20 question final. Not fun.

Class started easy like everyone here suggested then after drop week she turned on us, she took away pre-tests and made exams with material we never even covered. Homework is due every other day and reads her notes rather than teaches them. Horrid.

DO NOT take Wilde if you have to take Phys 2002.Tests are online and only 10 concept questions,you never use the formulas.There is no bonus and webassigns are due 2-3 X week.She said her goal grade for students is a 69!!

300 pages of printed notes and a syllabus of 32 pages should not intimidate you. She's an easy teacher, just study the fill in the blank notes.

This class was great. I had nver taken Physics before, but I was able to understand everything. Dr. Wilde is a good teacher. I would have gotten an A in the course, however, the final exam is a killer. Be prepared.

Wilde is good! She goes slow. If you do the homework, which is for a grade anyway, you will do fine on the tests. Be sure you understand the concepts for the computer tests!

Great teacher, crap class, great teacher, webassign sucks, great teacher, computer tests suck, if you think you can pass this class you might as well test out of it so you don't waste time and money taking a class that you get no credit for.

I'm sure that Wilde is an intelligent woman, but you wouldn't be able to tell if you sat through her class. The woman is on another planet. She explains things at a pace that a 10 year old would understand, so it's really easy. Take her!
