Stevenson was awesome! The class itself was very interesting. You must go to class to get notes because not everything is in the book and vice versa. Tests are very straight forward. Do not take the class if you are easily offended because it is social DEVIANCE!! Take her if you can!!

Grey is very black or white. If you care little about what the actual class is teaching, then take it because it's relatively easy. If you take things literally, this class will annoy you. She does not give one much room for individual opinion.

I don't know what these other people are talking about. I loved this class. Go to class and read the book and you'll have no problem!

This bitch is off her rocker! She gets extremely offended when something doesn't go her way and she grades too harshly. Her exams are easy but can be VERY tricky! She is very particular about things but the class itself was cool. Take another teacher

MRS. STEVENSON is probably the nicest teacher at LSU (almost Kindergarden Teacher Nice!!) This class is basically a SEX EDUCATION CLASS!! Sometimes going overboard, but its funny! LOTS of Notes! Book is a MUST for test!! No Laptops allowed : (

She is kind of crazy sometimes, but it's a good class. Pretty easy, interesting material. I recommend it.

Awesome class... very interesting and Stephenson makes it easy to pay attention - as long as you go to class and take notes (or get them from someone), the tests are pretty easy.

She was very bitchy at times, and her tests were tricky. I am usually a straight A student, but I got a B in this class as well as each of my 5 other friends in this class. Take O'Neil. Trust me.

Deviance is a very interesting class, but do not take it with Stevenson. I read all the chapters and studied a week ahead of time and still got a B, only the second B of my college career. Save yourself the pain and don't take it with Stevenson.

My hardest class of the semester -- with calculus and physics -- if you like to read about BS, this class is for you...stevenson, although head of sociology department, is the worst teacher i have heard...

She is pretty good at her lectures. She touches on the important stuff, yet still keeps it interesting without going TOO deep. Sometimes she can have crude humor, but that's just her personality. She is still pretty good.

She is the prototype of a teacher. She teaches what you need to know and the tests cover that material; she is organized and to the point.

This is a great interesting class! Mrs. Stevenson likes to discuss things more than getting you to take notes, so you won't be bored. You have to read the chapters and study notes for tests but the material is easy! Recommended!

Her exams are extremely short and she doesn't grade the essays easily, so even if you don't understand just one concept it can lower your grade. Besides that, great class and nice teacher.

The material was interesting and challenging, but the exams were very hard - especially the short answer. Be prepared to study very, very hard if you take this class.
