Love Dr. Chen! Took this and BADM 4040 from him. VERY EASY classes. You basically just have to do the assignments for an A. I found the material interesting but it applied to my minor, so that could be why. Teaches a lot through the success stories of entrepreneurs in China and those who have sourced their business to China. Requires 3 papers based on two inexpensive books he assigns. The midterm and final grades are based on the same group project, which isn't bad. Also 12 quizzes which frequently end up being take home or opinion based; he drops 2. And he requires you to participate in forum discussions on Moodle for 10% of your grade. It usually comes down to 10 posts for the full 10%. This is a very easy A if you need it and a good course on Chinese business if that interests you.

Dr. Chen is one of the nicest professors ever. He's just really passionate about China and wants everyone to do well. Easy class and nice guy. The only downside was writing the three papers he assigns throughout the semester, but as along as you do them you receive 100%. Definitely take!

Dr. Chen is a nice guy, and he's funny. However if you want to learn about ISDS don't take him, you'll learn about franchising. Open book essay quizzes and tests too
