Crowe is absolutley horrible. The tests are rediculous. Crowe is a litle quarky. Do not take this teacher!

Dr. Crowe was an amazing professor. He broke the material down enough to where you can actually understand what is going on.

Dr. Crowe is really a good teacher. He works hard to prepare his students for exams (has review sessions and practice exams), has phenomenal curves, and drops a test! He is also a very nice guy, if you get to know him.

I have never worked so hard and spent so much time on a class in my life, and I made my first C ever in this class. DO NOT TAKE CROWE! Students took his tests to 2 other organic profs & neither could even finish the tests! His test are IMPOSSIBLE!

Crowe knows his shit. If you want to know Organic take him. His tests are really, really hard and a lot of time is required outside of the class to prepare for the material, but damn it feels good and rewarding to come out of that class with an A.

you have to study a lot if you plan on making an A...it's a lot of stuff to memorize. not as hard as everyone says, though. review sessions with crowe helped a lot, plus he curves to the lowest B, a 70%...A= 88-100%

This class is extremely difficult. Crowe does his best to give his students opportunities to do well though, bonus, curving, etc.

He zoomed through his notes. Anything I learned for this class was done on my own. Read the book, class is pointless.

Dr. Crowe is by far the best faculty member in the chemistry department. He really knows the material, and he goes through every aspect of every topic he covers. Take Organic Synthesis wtih him!!

This class was very, very difficult. Crowe is a good teacher but his tests are absurdly difficult; however, to compensate he (usually) sends out a practice test. While nice, he was somewhat unconcerned with students.

Dr. Crowe is an excellent teacher. Although most students want to memorize organic (which is why people say it's hard), Crowe insists on showing you why things work the way they do, so if you take the time to listen to him, the class isn't that hard.

Crowe is a really nice guy. His tests are hard though, so get ready. Ive honestly enver studied more for a class in my life but i feel as though I really understand the material very well. Crowe puts together organized note packets, send out reviews

Dr. Crowe gives practice tests that are very similar to the real tests. If everyone does bad on a quiz, he will give a makeup to everyone. Also, he gives bonus questions and curves the tests if the average is not a 70.

Very temperamental, sometimes gets aggravated when ppl ask questions/go to his office. But he does give bonus questions (if you ask) and ends up curving a lot, enough to make the class avg 70. His pdf notes are great. Disorganized lectures though

He curves the grading scale so it REALLY helps. If I remember right, a 60 was still a C. Other than that I took it in the fall and he likes to give Monday quizzes so say goodbye to getting smashed at football games :(

Organic is awful, but Crowe is the best. He emails excellent notes and practice question and is always trying to make sure you understand the material. Grades hard, but wont let you fail.

If you have to take this class do what you can not to take Crowe. The class really isn't hard but he jokes more than he teaches and he is very hard to follow. He was not around for office hours and if he was he claimed he was too busy for questions.

Crowe is an alright guy but he's so smart, I believe he's forgotten what it was like to see it for the first time. He will breeze through something that is a very important point and he always uses technical language. Write down everything he says.

Crowe is a horrible teacher. This class is already difficult, and he just makes it twice as hard. He doesn't explain the material cleary, all he does is read directly from the notes. He tries to be funny, but fails. TRUST ME, DONT TAKE HIM.

Dr. Crowe is willing to help. He has good notes on the net and puts up practice tests, which are very similar to his tests! Know eveything on the practice test and questions asked in a different way pertaining to the same thing!
