HARRIS R (MUS)

I thought this was supposed to be an easy A, but its not so be careful. I had to study a bunch. You have to go to class because she says she will give out assignments but that only happened twice. Made me nervous enough to go though. You have to go to concert, so it takes up time outside of class and is super boring. Class is also really lame. Do not take this class! If your looking for something easy, take ANTHROPOLOGY with Tague.

She's a very good teacher, there is alot of memorization, but she tells you what will be on the tests in class.

Dr. Harris is very entergetic and really wants to make the material understood by her students. The material seems very basic at first, but the class really was interesting. Pay attention in class,she'll basically tell you what will be on the test.

She explained stuff really well but the class is boring as hell, studying the night before the test is acceptable because she grades easily.

The way the class is presented is a snooze, but very easy nonetheless.

Dr. Harris is very helpful and tests come straight from the book/powerpoints. Lots of extra credit on every test. Very easy class.

Not bad listening part on tests sucks and going to concerts not that great, but not that bad of a class

Boring...test are pretty easy if you study, LOTS of bonus

I'm not big on music, but it's an easy A. Tests are really easy, bonus offered if needed. If you need an art elective, this is a good choice

VERY interesting and easy class. Dr. Harris was an amazing teacher who really cares about her students. Music Appreciation was by far the best class I've taken at LSU.

Rachel Harris was a great teacher.Helpful and friendly. If you are behind in class she will give you extra credit assignment. great teacher. Study and do the assignments helps you out in the end. Extra points if you go to more than three concerts.

Dr. Harris was nice, no office hours though. Gave atleast 10 points of extra credit per test. Had to study a lot.

She has a lot of rules.

Not as easy as you would think, but still not a difficult class if you put in a little effort.

Dr. Harris's exams were usually rather easy to complete with 10 extra credit points available on each. You do have to attend 3 concerts, though, as part of your grade.

Harder than it should be since it was just taken for an art credit. You copy slides in class [she didn't put them online]. You have to go to concerts as part of the grade; would've made an A but missed all concerts. Pretty easy tests, take her.

She was SOOO incredibly boring!!

Harris is very good about extra credit, tests are easy if you read/go to class occasionally. Easy teacher, with minimal effort, you should do fine!

Dr. Harris's exams are super easy, but her lectures are kinda boring. Don't bother buying the book, just study the lecture notes and you'll get A's on all the tests. She also offers a TON of bonus!

It's a good class if you've had previous music experience. Mrs. Harris makes a lot of busy work that other professors that teach this course don't give. It pays off in the end because she gives many opportunities for bonus points. time consuming
