For Econ this class wasn't really bad. I had to W it first semester with Newman. Gittings is a really smart guy, and yeah you'll know that from the first class because he loves to talk about himself. Other than the slight over confidence the class isn't bad. I missed a lot of classes and still got a B. There should be old tests floating around too so that should help. The tests are pretty reasonable, other than final, which was possibily the hardest test i've ever taken in my life. If you have to take econ i would recommend this teacher.

Gittings is AWESOME! course material sucks but he tries really hard to make things easier to understand. gives HUGE curves (final was 22 points), tries to scare you in the first day of class but isn't that bad. if you have to take econ, take him!
