Dr. Hamm is awesome! He made the readings interesting, but I guess they just weren't my cup of tea. The exams aren't hard just detailed. Should've put more time in the class to get an A, but my bio classes were more pressing. Overall, loved it!

Dr. Hamm was an interesting and funny teacher. He gave a couple of bonus points near the end of the semester for being in class. Read the plays that are assigned because he grades pretty hard.

This class was interesting, but the quizes focused on overly specific plot-based information rather than conceptual and literary understanding, which pissed me off and made them alot more difficult.

You've got to like Shakespeare if you want to like this class. Hamm is funny and quirky but it still got boring. He's very willing to help and meet outside of class time. Only take it if you really like Shakespeare. Not an EASY a but not hard

The course was interesting and engaging. Robert Hamm is the best lecturer I've had at LSU. He's hilarious and brilliant.

Shakespeare was HORRIBLE...but Dr. Hamm is alright. He could have made it more interesting, but I guess there's not much you can do with that. Definitely NOT a blow off class...a LOT of work.

Dr. Hamm is hip and knows his shakespeare! He's also very nice out of class and helpful. Your TA determines a lot though, depending who you get. Hamm's quizzes are not hard. Papers a little challenging. INteresting class!
