Moroney is a nice guy. Exams were tough, but once you get used to them grades will improve. 1201 material is tough though

Moroney is great. He is nice and funny. Doesn't take attendancebut gives quizzes for bonus. You have to pay attention and study alot but he gives you plenty of opportunities for help. Tests and the final are hard if you don't put time into it.

get ready for HARD EXAMS! Moroney is a good teacher though and is definitely there to help out as much possible. Get ready to spend a lot of time on this class-if you want a decent grade you have to study the notes and read the chapters

Moroney is so nice and funny! He teaches the material well and really wants you to understand. As long as you have the good grasp on the material then you won't have any difficulty with the tests because he doesn't put annoying details.

This class is definitely not easy. I had to read each chapter several times to prepare for tests. Moroney is funny and keeps class interesting.

Moroney is very friendly and nice and he is very willing to help you. Just make sure you go to class b/c he has pop quizes (easy). The final is cumulative and also very hard.

Though I only needed to fill a HIST major requirement, I took this class because of Prof. Moroney. He takes what for me would be a difficult and tedious class, and makes it interesting. Definitely recommended, despite the ton of info presented.

Professor Moroney is a nice, down-to-earth guy. He will help you out A LOT if you just make an appointment with him about a week before the exam. His exams are really tough though.

Moroney is one of the better options for 1201. I barely had an A going into the final and got a 70 on the final and a B in the class. So the final is tough! Go to class to get the points for the in class quizzes he gives. He is a nice guy overall

Moroney is one of the better teachers for 1201, but you need to study a lot to do well on his tests! The final is pretty tough, so make sure you do well in the beginning. Great guy though, and you can understand him, but make sure you read the book!

If you read the chapters and do the practice exams, you'd get at least an B because his questions are straight forward. Attend class everyday because he awards you by telling you what's on the exam and the in class quizzes help also. He's great!

Moroney is smart and seems like a cool guy, but his tests are impossible. I never missed a class, took good notes, studied and still got a C. And the final....I still have nightmares.

Moroney is nice, funny, and goes through notes at a steady pace. Notes posted online. HE is actually present at review sessions (not an SI instructor), and you will do fine if you study the notes AND the chapters. I missed him a lot in BIOL 1202!

copy of powerpoint presentations given, but some parts are left blank to get you to go to class; a few pop quizzes, easy, just to reward attendance; group test, so no huge testing bank

The notes are online but if no one goes to class he deletes part of the notes. Kind of boring and test are really hard. Doesnt curve very much.

He was funny and although the powerpoint teaching method is almost always boring, we could download the notes. His tests were not hard, even though you do have to study. Class was enjoyable as long as you paid attention and went to class.

Awesome instructor. he really cares about his students. outlines avail online, pretty fair tests. study exactly how he tells you, eg old tests, review quests, outline, etc and ull do fine

Moroney is an excellent teacher!!! His class is really fun and the exams are straight to the point. You are never tested on things you didn't learn. This semester we had 15 point extra credit opportunity.
