Internal Audit is a great class! Knokw what you're getting yourself into though. It's hard but worth it! Dr. Sumners is hilarious once the class gets going. He tries to thin the class down first though.

This class is the 2nd half of the LSUCIA program. It is a requirement if you want to minor in IA, but really not helpful/useful unless you plan to pass part 3 of CIA exam. Too many company presentations. Lydia teaches primarily (no complaints there).

Internal Audit is different from any class you'll take. The program is extremely beneficial, and apply for an internship even if you don't know if you want to audit as a career. GREAT experience, all the time and energy pays dividends for sure.

Sumners cares about the program. I don't know about the students, but he is a nice guy away from class. LOTS of work. You'll most likely get an internship. It's well worth the trouble. This class rewards you're hard work unlike any other

Dr. Sumners care about the students very much.......I have to admit it was hell when you have to put up around 6 or 7 hours outside of class for studying and group meeting...But in the end, I got a well paid internship, and I actally learn a lot

Best class I ever took at LSU, Dr. Sumners can be intimitdating but he is wonderful and cares deeply for the program and the students, only take 15 hours when you take this course, it takes up all your time, but it is incredible!

This class is a lot of work, but if you count what you get out of the class to as much time you put in, it will be worth it. Not saying that it's easy.. Very demanding. But try it out, you can always drop. Get ready to work..
