I really liked Chaney. If you participate in class, she really helps you out with your papers. She's not that tough of a grader, but you need to go to class to get a good grade. Take Chaney if you don't miss class much. Quizzes sometimes but easy

Not a hard class. A reading every day...short stories and 3 novels. 2 papers. She was a nice lady and a fair grader. just keep up with the readings, probably one of the easier english classes but it can get real boring....

Good class with Southern authors, buy your notes packet, good about make-up work although classes might put you to sleep sometimes. She's a little old lady who's excited about books - not a hard class at all. 3 books and short stories is all you read

Good teacher, a fair grader, and nice. You will be a better writer if you listen to her comments. If she favors students, it will be those who pay attention and show some effort. If worried, take your paper to the free tutor center.

I should not have a C in this class! I am an A student when it comes to English. What's the deal? I think Chaney is nice, but I feel like she may favor other students.. who knows. There are easier teachers out there unless Chaney likes you a lot.
